The 9th International Maritime Defence Show

From July 10 to July 14, 2019, the 9th International Maritime Defence Show (IMDS-2019) was held in St. Petersburg. It presented military and special equipment of Russian and foreign companies.

IMDS-2019 is one of the leading events in the field of shipbuilding and naval armament. It is one of the three largest world maritime exhibitions of military products.

The participants discussed the current state and prospects of development of air defense equipment and the protection of naval bases, as well as new developments in the field of fire safety on ships and the safety of crew and passengers of marine equipment.

The specialists of Zelinsky Group attended the event to exchange experience and contacts with foreign representatives of the naval sector, and also took part in the business program of official foreign delegations and heads of the largest enterprises of the Russian Federation.

As part of the IMDS-2019, a curious exposition of warships and boats, armament products, military and special equipment was organized. The exposition was presented not only on the exhibit booths, but also in the form of full-scale samples at the marine terminals of the exhibition complex. Among the participants there were all the leading enterprises of the maritime industry in Russia.

As a result of the event, our colleagues managed not only to hold negotiations and establish important business contacts with representatives of foreign delegations, but also to gather necessary information regarding the use of self-rescuers and other respiratory protection in the maritime sector.
